Chronicling the six-decade journey of the First Lady of Song, Ella is the soulful jazz musical dedicated to the life and times of one of the greatest musical icons of the past century, Ella Fitzgerald. Following her right from her challenging early days up to her crowning as one of the greatest figures of the 20th Century, it's a loving journey through a true piece of musical history!
Featuring many of her best loved hits such as "A Tisket-A-Tasket", "It Don't Mean A Thing (If It Ain't Got That Swing)" and "Sweet Georgia Brown", this stunning Audelco Award-winning musical written by Lee Summers and conceived by actor and director Maurice Hines Jr is a heartfelt tribute to a woman who truly brought the power of song to the masses for over 60 years.
