1526 Broadway St, Detroit, MI 48226
Originally opened as The Capitol Theater in 1922, this venue was one of the many to be designed by prominent Detroit architect C. Harold Crane. The Opera House in its current form was reopened in 1996, after an extensive renovation following years of neglect. It's currently home to Michigan Opera Theatre, and also hosts a variety of touring Broadway shows and concerts every year.
About Detroit Theater: We are an independent show guide not a venue or show. We sell primary, discount and resale tickets which may be priced above or below face value.
