About Polyphia

Formed in 2010, Polyphia first came to prominence when their guitar cover versions became viral sensations on YouTube. Initially, their own original records had them working in metalcore genres, known as one of the prime names of the djent metal movement. Before long, though, a gradual musical evolution across their subsequent records saw them experimenting with math-rock, progressive rock, and even trap, house and hip-hop influences to create a sound that is uniquely their own.
