The show's wit, gore and stage magic make it a ridiculous amount of fun.

City Theatre's 8th annual Evil Dead The Musical series
Sweat Equity Studio and Olympia Entertainment return with the eighth annual 'Evil Dead: The Musical' fall run at City Theatre, featuring a cast of new and returning local performers who've signed their contracts and are ready to face a whirlwind of fake blood, comedy and tribute song & dance. For five weeks, ending conveniently with the weekend before Halloween, audiences can experience the camp, gore and riotously funny b-movie gags of Sam Raimi's cult hit zombie slasher series, replete with self-referential one-liners and instantly singable spoof songs like 'All The Men In My Life Keep Getting Killed By Kandarian Demons' and 'Do The Necronomicon'.
Don't miss the musical mayhem as accidental heartthrob and housewares employee Ash Williams wreaks havoc on the undead! It's an age old tale... Boy (Ash) heads to seemingly innocuous cabin in the woods with friends for a weekend away. Boy thinks he may have a chance with girl at said cabin. Boy accidentally discovers an ancient book of the dead and summons an evil spirit, friends get possessed and boy's gotta make it until dawn with nothing but a trusty chainsaw by his side.
