6LACK first began experimenting with music and lyrics in middle school as a battle rapper, years before releasing his debut album, 'Free 6lack', which reached number 34 on the Billboard 200 chart and its lead single 'Prblms' being nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 2018 Grammys. In 2023, his follow up album, 'Since I Have a Lover', was nominated for 'Best Progressive R&B Album' at the Grammys. With all these awards under his belt, as well as huge tracks 'Calling My Phone' with Lil TJay, 'Pretty Little Fears' with J Cole, and OTW - 6lack is a shining light in melodic rap and R&B.
