Curtains

Why see Curtains?

Murder, She Sang

A murderously funny comedy, Rupert Holmes' musical whodunnit, comes to Meadow Brook Theatre! With lyrics by musical theatre legends Kander and Ebb (Cabaret, Chicago), Curtains follows a troupe of actors at Boston's Colonial Theatre who all come under the magnifying glass when their leading lady is found dead on opening night.

What Is The Story?

When the star of a Jessica Crenshaw show is found dead on the show's opening night, it's up to musical-theatre-obsessed Lt. Frank Cioffi to head behind the scenes and sniff out the killer. A warm send-up of the backstage murder plot, this uproarious comedy sends Cioffi on a wild goose chase through the production to solve the crime. From the beautiful understudy to the producers, the composer to the director, no one is above suspicion!
