When the star of a Jessica Crenshaw show is found dead on the show's opening night, it's up to musical-theatre-obsessed Lt. Frank Cioffi to head behind the scenes and sniff out the killer. A warm send-up of the backstage murder plot, this uproarious comedy sends Cioffi on a wild goose chase through the production to solve the crime.
