The hilarious antidote to wedding season!
Wedding season is fast approaching, and anyone who's ever been forced into the world's ugliest bridesmaid dress knows just how crazy it can get, from the terrifying demands of a Bridezilla to fisticuffs between the Groomsmen! Thankfully, Meadow Brook Theatre presents the perfect comedic antidote in the form of this wonderful play from the writers of The Golden Girls and Kingdom Come, with direction from Travis W. Walter.
Revolving around four southern friends prepping for their nuptials in a Bridal Boutique, Always a Bridesmaid is a heady comedy as the bonds of friendship and loyalty are pushed to their limits in pursuit of the perfect big day. The path to the altar is paved with good intentions, but never has it been as funny as this. If you've ever been pushed in the bouquet-catching crowd or wondered just how those two people made it up there in front of their nearest and dearest, this is the show for you.
