    Jingle Ball MSQ 2023

    Have been to many Jingle Ball shows in other cities. specifically came to NYC for this lineup. Overall, too many ads and interruptions - nearly 4 hr show could have been 3 hrs of high quality performing.  Jelly Roll deserved more props - underdog, and one of the best acts. (guess the 14 yr old girls don't know him). I like the addition of country. One Republic surprised me with their quick pivots and energy. Sabrina Carpenter oozed over the stage like a teenage porn star and had little depth or variety. SZA is always stellar, including the little surprise sampling of Rich Baby Daddy. She was the one I looked forward to most. OLIVIA RODRIGO, who never really impressed me on the radio (just like all the other youngens who sing about failed romance) BUT SHE STOLE THE SHOW.
