A Christian stage play for modern times

Don't miss the return of Christian stage play by Detroit's own T.J. Hemphill
Detroit's own playwright T.J. Hemphill is bringing back his hit production to the Fisher Theatre stage for the Easter weekend, a time for reflection and gratitude in the Christian calendar. This year the powerful stage play will highlight the plight of the Flint residents and their water crisis, with Hemphill arranging a sponsored bus so that residents may see the play.
The story follows a young man brought down by the perils of a life on the wrong side of the tracks. After being knocked unconscious he travels back in time to the last days of Jesus of Nazareth, and so begins a journey of honour, sacrifice and ultimately, redemption.
