The Detroit Symphony Orchestra is joined by guest vocalists Chen Reiss, Reginald Mobley, and Andrjez Filonczyk, the Audivi choir, and the Detroit Opera Youth Chorus as they perform Orff's masterpiece cantata, presented alongside two Michael Abel works, Global Warming and Other Seasons.

No season is complete without a rousing performance of Carl Orff's lustful and triumphant Carmina Burana and its showstopping O Fortuna chorus.  Originally derived from a series of Medieval poems, Carmina Burana has become one of the most exhilarating live experiences to be found in concert halls across the world and as one not to be missed whenever it's performed.
