FUN NIGHT WITH A CHARMING HOST

The show isn't your typical stand up show. It is more of a throwback humorist type show. Offerman is super charming and funny in unusual way. It is amazing how he can find a balance about talking sex and racy things but being such a wordsmith that it sounds elegant. Definitely a fun and unique night. The crowd loved it.

TOTALLY AMAZING!!!!

This show was the best comedy show I have ever seen. Nick Offerman was humble and hilarious! My wife surprised me with tickets for my birthday and I was not disappointed. The whole audience was enraptured with laughter and some thought provoking moments. I would totally go see it again. I just have one critique and that is I thought it needed more wood working :)

DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT

Saw Nick in Fort Myers on a long weekend with my daughters. We completely enjoyed the evening. Entertained by his songs and range of topics. We were surprised that it wasn't sold out, but after the show began we realized why. Florida is a tough crowd for someone with a more liberal viewpoint!

IT WAS OK, WOULDN'T GO SEE AGAIN

For a comedy show the laughs were pretty limited and most of those seemed like sympathy laughs. His theme of the show was pretty disjointed, which would be fine except that he tried to pretend like he was pulling it all together under this "Full Bush" idea. He performed many songs, but the music wasn't very interesting or didn't vary much from song to song and the lyrics weren't very witty, though a few funny lines here and there. The highlight of the night actually came when a member of the audience stood up in the crowd near the front of the stage and yelled at Nick: "You're Illuminati scum!" Nick responded back to him, mostly shocked that he is being yelled at, and the guy said a few other words I couldn't understand through the laughing of the crowd. Quite strange, but gave us all some entertainment and something to talk about as we left the theater.

I TRIED TO LIKE IT

........ When you have to tell your crowd about your cell phones obviously you lost your crowd. I mean I get it you're a comedian you're supposed to take jabs at people but continually going back and attacking people that believe in gun rights and religion over and over again. And to say you work hard on this, really what.

MR OFFERMAN IGNORES HIS BASE AUDIENCE

First, I fully understand Mr Offerman is not Ron Swanson. I appreciate that he might even want to express this thought in a song. I further appreciate that he would have his own values and personal thoughts on say politics, religion and the general state of the world. I do however think it would be a good idea for people in the entertainment business to keep those thoughts to themselves AND further, that they might want to play at least a little to their base of followers. Mr. Offerman has chosen to espouse all his views in public - on my dime. Actually, my wife's several hundred dimes. Remember when the Bravo channel had Opera and Symphonies? Remember when MTV had Music Videos all day? A lot of folks take a turn someplace and totally forget their base. Mr. Offerman, I wish you many more years of successful film and television roles but I will likely not pay to see your live show again. You have alienated your base. I have more to say but the space here will not allow it.

MEH

Wow was I disappointed. A few funny moments here and there but somehow he ended up talking and singing about anal sex for a lot of the show… one joke haha but many? Uck. It made me think that the only reason I’ve found him to be funny is because he’s scripted on Tv. I started to wonder if some of the loud laughers were plants.

PREACHY AND TRITE

I have seen Nick twice before and loved him. I love his dry humor. But recently someone must have convinced Nick that he is a preacher and that his mission is the save the world. What that became was a handful of passable jokes sprinkled into a series of extreme caricature monologues of macho, homophobe, gun loving, racist, and sexist white guys. Add to that a homily about how we should all get along, respect each other and let each other make our own choices and you have a evening that was quite honestly boring. The caricatures have been done much more effectively by others long ago. Nothing is new or insightful. The worst part is that people were laughing at the caricatures. It just isn’t funny to do a monologue about how a parent doesn’t accepted their child because they are LGBTQ. It is a sad thing. Nick observes that we are all separated by the way we group ourselves. He observes that life would be better if we didn’t build walls. But he did nothing to tear down those walls, nothing to bring people together. Would not recommend to anyone.

DISAPOINTED

Waited months to see and I tried to like it but it was too much like a lecture. Not funny. I have seen him before and this time was not good

WE GET IT

This was a difficult comedy show to endure. I don't mind if you have passionate views, in fact, Jim Jeffries and Bill Burr have found a way to make it funny without dwelling on it throughout their entire skit and alienating a singular group. It seems Offerman was trying to say his view of politics and gun control were the only way and if you thought otherwise, you were "stupid". Then goes on to tell a heckler who said "you suck" that we should all be tolerant of others... seems contradictory. Besides not practicing what he preaches, the humor was lacking and forced.

ANGRY AND JUDGEMENTAL COMEDIAN

Took a group of four people and we all found this to be very disappointing. Simply not very funny. He actually seemed angry and very judgemental which seemed contradictory since he was calling out many Americans for being judgemental. A waste of time and money

POLITICS AND SHOW-TUNES

Saw Nick in Reno March 11,2023. I was very excited but the show turned political very early and stayed that way until the end. This wasn't a comedy show, it was liberal talking points and left-wing propaganda with corny show-tunes. Nick will tell you how couples making out on The Bachelor is "disgusting", but if you don't like to watch 2 men get it on, you're a homophobe & full of hate. Nick will sing show-tunes on Brett Kavanagh likes beer and preach that Christine Ford was sooo credible. Nick hates on the 2A, explaining that your decision to bear arms to protect your family is dumb. If this sounds entertaining, by all means go see him. But don't expect to laugh like you're seeing Dave Chapelle or Tom Segura.

JUST WASN’T ENTERTAINING

politics and preachiness aside (and sorry hollywood celebrities aren’t the working class) it just wasn’t funny or entertaining like his books. the one upside was that by leaving early i beat the traffic. i’ve always known that nick offerman wasn’t ron swanson but this was the first time i wish he was

UNFUNNY WALKED OUT

Wasn’t funny. He basically sings songs and makes observations that aren’t funny. People were walking out early. No laughs. I thought he may just not be my brand of comedy, but considering there were no laughs in my section and people were walking out after an hour, I don’t think I was alone. I wanted to like him because I liked him on television. But his show was just pure hot garbage. Ps. Saw him at Cesars in Windsor ON Canada.
