Mitch Albom, award winning sports journalist and author of Tuesdays With Morrie, presents his latest work - a musical! Described by the author himself as 'Spamalot - with hockey sticks', this show tells the story of five avid hockey fans who must fight to save their beloved sport after God decides to wipe it out to teach mankind a lesson. A show for hockey and musical theater fans alike, it's a very funny, silly and catchy adventure! "It's an underdog show for an underdog sport!" says Albom.
The score, written by Albom, includes old pop songs alongside original numbers, including 'When You're A Wing' and 'God is a Canuck'. This Detroit premiere is directed by Peter Albom and choreographed by Gabe Nesser.
