A Musical Icon, Remembered

It's the golden age of Hollywood at the Phoenix Theatre, this delightful new musical biopic retells the meteoric rise to fame of one of Hollywood's biggest singing stars - as well as casting light on the struggles that she battled with behind the scenes. Featuring best-loved songs including "Come On-a My House", "Botch-a-Me", "Mambo Italiano", "Tenderly", "Half as Much", and "Hey There".

Charting her rise to fame during the Fifties, her subsequent fall into depression and drugs during the Sixties, it concludes with her triumphant comeback during the Seventies, when Bing Crosby requested she appear at his 50th anniversary in showbusiness show. The pair had previously starred together in the classic holiday movie, "White Christmas".
