Since its publication 1934, Agatha Christie's iconic locomotive whodunnit Murder On The Orient Express has thrilled and chilled readers and audiences with subsequent stage/screen adaptations over the decades, including a recent Hollywood blockbuster starring Kenneth Branaugh and Johnny Depp. The elegant tale of murder and mystery is given a humorous twist when it returns during Ken Ludwig's brand new comedy adaptation, kicking off Meadow Brook Theater's 2019/20 season in style. 

Having just solved a mystery theft in Jerusalem, Christie mainstay Hercule Poirot, the moustachioed Belgium detective who remains English writer's most famous character creation, decides a small vacation is in order. Crime never takes a holiday however, and his best laid plans are interrupted by a last minute trip to Calais on the opulent Orient Express. Things take a gruesome turn when a body is discovered and an avalanche stops the train in its tracks. Amongst the colorful cast of first-class travellers, a murderer lurks in plain sight...
