A Hilarious Tribute To Golf & British Farce
The hijinks and hilarious hullaballoo of British farce meets a thoroughly modern American tale in award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig's 'The Fox On The Fairway', which enjoys a locally produced run at Michigan's Meadow Brook Theater this winter! A colorful cast of characters conjure a whirlwind of theatrical mischief and magic as they contend with mistaken identities, madcap romantic capers and each other, on the green that is - set in a private country club, Ludwig's trademark humour and whip smart writing pays tribute to the beautiful game of golf above all.
Trouble is brewing at the Quail Valley County Club and as much as its executive director Bingham attempts to stop it, the more it springs up! Not only has a professional golfer he counted on playing for his club switched sides and taken up with his competing club, but his newly hired assistant Justin is losing his wits over his love interest and club waitress Louise, but he's also about to lose a wager he placed on the aforementioned golfer... Luckily he discovers Justin has a secret golfing talent he can use to his advantage, that is unless he can keep Louise from driving Justin completely around the bend...
