MACKLEMORE WAS FREAKING AMAZING!

Everyone on this thread is correct. Macklemore was so good and Kesha stright up sucked. After Macklemores show I told my gf there was no way Kesha could follow that. I was right. Idk Kesha killed the mood with her opening song FU cussing and her tinny bop high speed voice. If I read these reviews before the show I would have known to leave right after Macklemore.

AWESOME

This show was amazing!!! Macklemore was hilarious and brought so much energy and had everybody dancing. Kesha was also awesome! I dont know why all the reviews say such bad things about her she did not seem drunk at all and she brought the energy and sounded great! She was cute and funny and voice was beautiful. Amazing night really wish I could do it all over again.

5 STARS FOR MACKLEMORE 0 FOR KESHA

Macklemore was out of his world amazing I liked him but now LOVE him. He put on an amazing show, high energy, crowd interaction and sounded exactly like albums and radio. Kesha was awful we ended up leaving she seemed drunk or high as a kite and on some really good stuff. I love her albums or on the radio bit wish I never saw her live. It was painful to watch we made it to her "fake last song" as she called it and then decided we couldn't take anymore. I had gotten the tickets for free as a result of the LiveNation settlement and thankfully Macklemore was worth it cause Kesha was just a major disappointment. She's ruined glitter and jellyfish for me lol.

MORE MACKLEMORE! - KESHA, YOU'RE RIGHT. THIS PLACE DID BLOW.

Never heard of or saw Macklemore before but he has converted this heathen to a believer! All the energy, theatrics, crowd interaction, great anecdotes, and knew how to relate to the home turf (by his own admission he played Schuba's six years ago?!) Kesha was a disappointment from the moment she took the stage with a can of Pabst. Nothing sounded like her albums (why am I here?), swore at every other word (yawn), spitting that piss beer on her fans (?), spending way to much time talking about the clothes she's been accumulating (??) and somehow managed to make "Jolene" boring? Kesha's set rocked me hardest when the house lights came up and "9 to 5" came on. There is an Internets worth of GIFs to describe how shitty Kesha was. Go find one you like.

5 STATS FOR MACKLEMORE. 2 FOR KESHA

Seems every city had the same experience. Macklemore was INCREDIBLE! So much energy, audience interaction, his talking between songs was hilarious, there were songs I had never heard before and found myself immediately loving... No complaints! Kesha was different than expected. I'll admit I do not know much of her new stuff but a friend who does said that didn't really sound the same either but all her old stuff was played differently and hard to dance around to which was what I really looking forward to- a lot of people starting leaving during her set and the energy from the crowd just wasn't there, which is a shame because she closed with Praying and TIk Tok which were both very well done and redeeming.

AWESOME SHOW

We purposely missed the opening act, but Macklemore and Kesha were fantastic - even in the hot, hot weather. Mackelmore was funny, entertaining and high energy. Kesha was also fabulous belting out hit after hit. I do agree she could limit the F word in respect to her younger fans ( didn't bother me much), but her show was full energy - everyone in my group thought the show was great!

LOVED MACKLEMORE

I’ve always been a really big Macklemore fan and my god was I not in the slightest bit disappointed. He’s absolutely amazing and I will 100% pay to see him again. I could’ve lived the rest of my life without seeing Kesha though. She acted and talked very weird. It was like an annoying girl who tries too hard and her cussing made her seem like a 6th grader trying to fit in with high schoolers. Her songs sound nothing like the ones she records and her Dolly Parton cover was a disgrace. If they ever tore together again it needs to be Kesha first because Macklemore was ridiculously good.

5 STARS FOR MACKLEMORE 1 FOR KESHA

Macklemore put on a fabulous show! He was energetic and had the fans on their feet the entire time. Kesha didn’t come out until 10:30 and it was a huge disappointment. Her us of the f-word was so over the top that it became a classless performance. I was really hoping to just hear her incredible vocals but her overuse of profanity took away from her performance and we ending up leaving after 30 May utes into her set.

MACKLEMORE GREAT- KESHA UNDERWHELMING.

I'm so glad Kesha played before Macklemore. She was very disappointing. Her stage was set up so that it seemed very busy whereas Macklemore's stage was very cohesive. Kesha didn't interact or engage the crowd very well. Her constant cursing was distracting at times. I personally think her volume levels were not right- her voice was hard to hear at times over the music. There were a few times I wasn't even sure if she was singing. Her costume changes also got distracting. I didn't understand the short videos she played in between. Macklemore on the other hand was amazing! From the very beginning he commanded the audience. He was able to interact and really get the crowd excited. His volume levels between his voice and the rest of the music seemed spot on. He was definitely the headliner here and provided an entire experience vs just playing a bunch of songs. The transitions for his costume changes had meaning and made sense. I would definitely pay to go see him again!! Not her.

GREAT SHOW

I don’t know, but I suspect that the first reviewer is reviewing a show from a different city. Macklemore DID show up and he totally brought the energy, put on an awesome Show. Kesha did 15 songs, not 5. She wasn’t drunk and she forgot one line of one song. I’ll agree with the others that while I’m not bothered by cursing, hers was a crutch - too much. Her show, we’ll, it was a big show. We were there to see Macklemore, and wow did he ever deliver! Very interactive, super high-energy, so entertaining!

MACKLEMORE BROUGHT THE ENERGY KESHA BROUGHT COSTUME CHANGES

There is nothing more to say than Macklemore came to rock out and put on a show and that is what he did regardless of the tempo. Keshas costume changes while awesome brought the engery down and lasted far too long. If the pace of her show was different it would have been upgraded from good to awesome.

UNLESS YOU LOVE KESHA, STAY HOME

The opening act, Wes Period, killed it. Macklemore was phenomenal as usual. But there’s over an hour delay between Macklemore and Kesha, almost fell asleep. This is a Kesha snooze fest, not a Macklemore adventure.

MACKLEMORE WAS AMAZING POOR KESHA SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN WASTED.

Why in heavens did Macklemore open for her and not the other way around? She couldn't stop cursing and she seemed really messed up. I hope she gets back on the sober train cause girl we noticed! Holy hell Macklemore was amazing though. Wanted more.

STAY FOR MACKLEMORE, LEAVE FOR KESHA

Macklemore killed it, no complaints about him. I would pay good $ to see him preform again. Amazing energy, engaged the crowd- amazing presence. Kesha though- really disappointed. She was over sexual which was not necessary. She wouldn't start a song until she received fan's clothes on stage. And apparently shirts weren't enough, she demanded bra's on the stage. Like pardon? Is that necessary? After she demanded bra's on stage, we left the concert (and didn't regret it). Also, Kesha live sounds nothing like she does on her records, so if you like her records, just stick to those.

KESHA MACKLEMORE PEPSI CENTER

The concert did not last long McLemore did not show Kesha sang about five songs appear to be drunk stumbled on stage and forgot the lyrics to her own songs waste of money waste of time very disappointing Concert started at 7 and was over by 9:15 to me it's a total rip-off for the price you pay when you pay to see two stars and only get one it's a shame never again will I go to the Kesha Macklemore event
