HOOTIE AND THE BLOWFISH

Great concert. The band was fun to watch. The music was classic, including songs from Darius' solo recording. The atmosphere at the Bowl was spectacular and festive. A great evening.

SHOW / VENUE

Sweltering evening at Riverbend but we survived it. Great show by Hootie and the Blowfish. It is deplorable that the city of Cincinnati has not figured out how to manage traffic for a sold out concert! Over an hour to get off the interstate and a couple miles to the venue. I will not return to large audience concerts because of the lousy traffic management.

HOOTIE AND THE BLOWFISH

Great show at Xfinity Center. From a guy who didn’t want to go. I had a blast, high energy and the bands looked like they were having fun. Sounded great. All around good time.

BNL AND HOOTIE AND THE BLOWFISH

One of the best Budweiser Stage concerts this summer. From our position sitting on the grass, the Bare-Naked Ladies led off with an hour of hits, humor and great sound. Hootie came on to blow the crowd away with an assortment of oldies, new songs, covers and excellent sound - very smooth to me. Brought BNL back for a rendition of the Beatles "With a little help from my friends" - the highlight of the evening for me. The crowd was singing, dancing and drinking for 3 1/2 hours.

HOOTIE AND THE BLOW FISH

Sound system awful. Darius sounded muffled all the way through (as did their opening act Bare Naked Ladies). Sound system checks need to be properly done from all angles of the audience seating arrangements. Felt like were listening to a band playing down the street. Views were terrible unless were directly in frontline of stage's view, and as there were no giant video screens for the side-seated chaired audience to view, as their giant front and center video screen was partially covered from view on both left and right sides of the stage by giant black sheeting... all sideview seated audiences were able to really see were nice giant angles of Darius' ear or elbow on this video screen. For the money spent on tickets, etc... you should make sure your fans can see you. Have been to see other acts at Shorline (and other venues) where the act made sure video screens were up from all angles to make sure all their paid fans could see them no matter where they sat. Dont be stingy... spend the money. Seems we fans made the best of it... nice song list, nice energy. Though, all-in-all, due to above stated, basically felt mostly "removed" from the concert. The people around us all stating the similar conplaints.

A FEW GOOD SONGS

Bare naked ladies opened for them.Turns out they were the better band. Hootie has a few good songs that made the charts. A lot of songs were get a beer or go to the bathroom songs.

DISAPPOINTED

Taken to MSG 8/11/19 for a birthday celebration. BNL were great & the sound system was perfect. Not the same when H&BF were on stage, Darius was definitely drowned out by the music and very surprised no one heard it and adjusted accordingly. If your seats were not right in front your view of the 2 large screens was blocked due to the speakers, our seats were in the 102 section, would've been an easy fix. Your staff should ensure and look at the stage from our view. Would like to hear the singing, and not muffled words. Couldn't wait to see the show, Birthday celebration with my family, we enjoyed in spite of these issues.

COVER BAND PERFORMANCE

Poor sound at times. Have not been to a concert in a while where massive numbers of people leave way before the end of the show! The reason being Hootie and Blowfish 25yr reunion must have caused them to reproduce their early start up days of playing cover band music! I went to hear their songs and they played so many other bands songs it was frustrating. Really a waste of expensive tickets for what they played.
