NUTCRACKER COLUMBUS BALLET

If you are going to redo the ballet into something so children can stay awake, make it an afternoon performance not your evening performance. I tried to embrace the choreography but there were too many pieces of the ballet missing or shortened. It was very disappointing. I will take partial responsibility for not investigating more before purchasing the tickets but instead of leaving with my Christmas cheer I get from your performance, I left empty.

NUTCRACKER 2017

I have seen The Nutcracker many times- both at The Fox and The Opera House. Aside from the beautiful music, this year's production (Cincinnati Ballet) was awful. The costumes, props and set were sub-par and the "whimsy" just didn't work. I paid much less two years ago to see the wonderful Moscow Ballet performance. This just wasn't worth the money and left us all disappointed. I have come to expect only the finest productions at the Opera House and, sadly, this just didn't deliver.

WAS THAT THE NUTCRACKER?

How is it possible to ruin a ballet that is a guaranteed hit. You turned a classic into a joke. I left so disappointed and confused. 😕!The costumes reminded me of a kids show I used to watch called H. R. Puffin Stuff. My sister hated it too. She actually wanted to leave during intermission. Please go back to the classic!!
