A timeless love story told through the thrilling medium of ballet
Enter a world of great mystery, beauty and enchantment during American Ballet Theatre's resplendent adaptation of one of the world's most enduring ballets - Swan Lake. Featuring choreography by the company's artistic director and formal principal dancer Kevin McKenzie fashioned on balletmasters Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov's, Tchaikovsky's gossamer score weaves around the hallowed coupes, releves, pas de chats and batterie of memorable set pieces like Dance of the Little Swans for a truly unforgettable evening of dance.
A timeless marriage of magic, tragedy and romance, Swan Lake chronicles the love affair between Prince Siegfried and Odette, a beautiful princess who spends her days as a swan and nights in human form thanks to a spell by an evil sorcerer. With ever more tricks up his sleeve, the sorcerer brings his daughter Odile into the picture and a case of mistaken identity threatens the couple's happily ever after.
