Absolutely breathtaking. It’ll will be our fourth time seeing this production. My grandson knows all the words. When he found out the production is returning, he immediately said we must get tickets on the main floor aisle. He is now thirteen years old.

I SAW THIS AT THE DETROIT OPERA HOUSE ON MAR 3 2013 AND I MUST SAY THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH ADJECTIVES TO TRULY JUSTIFY THIS PERFORMANCE. THE ACTORS, THE COSTUMES, THE PERFORMANCE, THE STAGE PRESENCE, JUST TO NAME A FEW WERE BEYOND SPECTACULAR. I WAS TRANSFORMED TO A CHILD AGAIN...THE COLORS, THE MUSIC, NOTHING WAS LEFT TO CHANCE...ALL ABOVE AND BEYOND...THANK YOU CAST AND CREW GREAT JOB...A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE

Right from beginning to end we were mesmerized with the music and the outstanding characters involved in this production. Our seats (aisle) were fabulous. We saw this production at the Detroit Opera House on Thursday Feb.13, 2013..Would definately go again...Thank you to all involved in this spectacul production..

Such an amazing show! The costumes, set designs, and music were so impressive. Definitely follows the Disney storyline but takes on its own life with an authentic African vibe and some new music. I was so moved by the amazing actors! The costumes and set designs blew me away. The stampede scene was truly so well thought out and incredible. A must see!

The show was amazing. I’m speechless, from costumes to performances. A must see show for sure and your money is so worth it.

The Lion King cast, costumes, characters were exceptional. The opening scene was overwhelming with the characters walking down the aisles to the stage. The technical agility of the gazelle, zebra, the giraffes and hyenas was amazing. Entire show was so uplifting and emotional. There were a few liberties taken on certain phrases and other songs thrown in to pull it all together but the overall production was right in line with the movie. A must see for sure..:standing ovation for all! I’d see it again in a minute! Parking under statehouse was perfect right by exit…get there an hour before to ensure. Only $5 for event.
