The folky project of Alexisonfire's Dallas Green tours their new record
Dallas Green is the former lead singer of Alexisonfire, but his solo work couldn't really sound much more different. Alexisonfire were Canada's leading post-hardcore band of the 00s, earning a sizeable cult following with albums like Watch Out! and Crisis. After the group split in 2011, Green concentrated his attention on his acoustic solo material. He's now released four albums of soul searching melancholy folk, and has a highly anticipated fifth, titled If I Should Go Before You, out this October.
City and Colour is heading out across North America this year, and he'll be joined by Hurray for the Riff Raff as support. The project of Alynda Lee Segarra, this folk-blues collective's last studio effort was the acclaimed Small Town Heroes. Catch them when the tour hits in , ,
