SPOT ON.

Great show. This venue never disappoints. Would like to know the name of female performer that opened the the show. Her lyrics were super!

GREAT SHOW

Wonderful show, love the female talent on stage! Jen Cloher (Courtneys's partner and co-funder of Milk! records opened the show). All in all a musical gift from a bunch of extremely talented artists.

5.0 star rating Luke from Portland, Oregon

AWESOME

Visiting from Australia... great venue... great gig... seated is always a bit meh but was still awesome.

MEH

It's really hard to see a bad show at Massey, the place itself is maybe a perfect venue and the sound is so good. I am a fan of Courtney's, and am not opposed to Kurt and the idea of mixing these two ingredients seems like a chocolate and peanut butter combo (a good one!). But there was something missing, At times I felt like it was two chefs in one kitchen and not enough creative space for both. I cannot articulate why, but it felt like a "going through the motions show". Not much chatter from the stage, Courtney was exceptionally quiet, I don't need the "love ya Toronto stuff" but some banter, some insight like Jen did to open may have helped warm it up. Also Kurt's changing guitars after every song definitely deflated any momentum that was building. I expect a little more from a live show and every time it seemed like a "jam" was going to get to a higher peak it plateaued and faded. Maybe they just need more on stage hours to "gel" but I left a little disappointed.
