An otherworldly tale in the same vein as 'It's A Wonderful Life'
American comedy television royalty Cindy Williams returns to the Meadow Brook Theatre as part of a rousing new theater season. Best known for her role as Shirley Feeney in the ABC classic Laverne & Shirley, Williams takes on the role of Peggy Swanson, a mom on an otherworldly mission in a production that has drawn comparisons to 'It's A Wonderful Life'.
Beloved wife and mother Peggy shows up at her husband's birthday party, although all is not as it seems as she has been dead for 11 months. Just like Clarence (It's A Wonderful Life's chief angel protagonist), Peggy must complete her special mission in order to gain her wings. Things take a turn for the complicated when it emerges that Peggy can only communicate through her daughter, who is only spending time with her dad due to the conditions of her anger management programme...
