Chicago advertised that they would be playing their second album in it's entirety,
and in my opinion did a great job performing it!!!
Sadly many people enjoy only "hits".

CHICAGO AND REO
I thought REO was ok, but I totally loved Chicago. The thing I've always loved about them is their horns. I thought they were phenomenal. They may have not performed all their hit songs, but what they did play was great.

REO AND CHICAGO
Overall, a great concert. Not a huge REO fan but they were very good.
I am a huge Chicago fan, have been for most of their 50+ years. If you really are a true Chicago fan, you would have enjoyed the music from the second album. True, not all of them were popular hits. However, they are still great songs and great music. The music and lyrics are moving, even in today's environment, which speaks loudly for the band and their music.
My only complaint was with the sound system at the Allstate Arena. It was not good, which took away from the performances of both groups.

REO GREAT AS ALWAYS
REO was great as always. Kevin was right on
with the vocals. Bruce and Dave sounded
amazing. Plus Neal and Bryan were
awesome as they always are. I've never been
disappointed with an REO concert, and I've
been to over 70.
The same can't be said for Chicago. I saw
them the last time they toured with REO
(2014) and they were amazing. But last
nights show was definitely not a good idea.
Playing the entire Chicago 2 album, what
were they thinking. Next time, give us a
heads up before we buy the tickets
(although I still would have gone to see REO).
One last observation: I've never seen a
venue shut down the general admission
lawn seating and move everybody to
reserved seating. Where were all the true
reo fans. I know you're out there. I've seen
you at other shows.
REO, come back soon. Austin loves you, we
always have and we always will.

WAKE UP PEOPLE!
Saw Chicago REO at The Pavillion. It
was fantastic. New musicians in
Chicago are great. particularly the
new lead singer. For those of you
who are complaining about them
playing the entire second album.
Wake up. I bought my tickets in
March and knew at the time that was
the plan. I’ve only seen Chicago about
6 times. By far the best.

REO SPEEDWAGON AND CHICAGO IN TORONTO 2018
REO played a good solid set. I will admit that I am not
a big fan. Chicago needs to be commended for going
out on a limb and playing through all of Chicago I.
That took courage. I was impressed with the
musicality of the entire group. They, even with the
replacements, continue to be polished musicians.
Loved to hear this album played in entirety. My only
regret, as always is that Terry Kath is missing. While
the replacement musicians were fantastic they just
aren't Terry. RIP. When is Peter returning? One of the
best, of many Chicago concerts, I've attended.

CHICAGO AND REO DARIEN LAKE 8/7
Was not expecting REO to step it up, was pleasantly surprised at how well they sounded and played. Chicago
well seen them last year and was slightly disappointed too many love ballads..Cetera songs, this was a story it
was by far the best Chicago concert I have seen, top form as always wish there was an oncore was my only
complaint.. but bring out those wonderful classics that never go old!! Thanks for a rockin night!
