The magic of Mozart

Discover more about the master composer with this wonderful theatrical experience presented by Classical Kids Live! Featuring 23 of Mozart's treasured works, you'll travel back in time to his early years after his son Karl discovers a magical chest that illuminates the life of his famed father. Don't miss this excellent way to introduce your little ones to the enchanting world of classical music through the music of an icon.

Born in Salzburg in what is now Austria in 1756, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart begun his musical career almost as soon as he could walk, with the child prodigy composing his own pieces from five years old. After playing for Salzburg court in his early teens, he set off to Vienna to make his fortune. In a brief but profound period that produced world-famous music that includes Requiem, The Marrigae of Figaro, The Magic Flute and nearly 600 more, he cemeted his name in the history books as a true genius right up until his untimely death in 1791, aged just 35.
